Make a Move:
What is it? It’s a 5km run/walk on McGill Downtown Campus to raise money for Make-a-Wish and to help grant wishes to terminally ill children.
When is it? The event will take place on Sunday March 28th, 2010. Registration will open at 10:00 A.M. on the day of. The run will begin at 11 A.M. and walkers will begin at 11:15 A.M. Snacks and Drinks will be served afterwards.
Where is it? The registration and pre-run events will be held in the SSMU Ballroom. Effusion Acapella will be performing live at 10:30 A.M. At 11 A.M. we will take everyone down to the street where we will begin the run. After the run/walk, there will be food and drinks served.
Don’t miss out on an amazing event. We can’t wait to see you all there!
Guidelines:
- Individual Runners: each runner must raise a minimum of $15 and will receive a t-shirt upon registration.
- 10 or more runners: If you have 10 or more members running together you can participate as a group. Please print and fill out a group form. There must be a minimum donation of $10 per runner/walker and a minimum of 10 people to a group. If you register your team before the day of the event during pre-registration then your team name and members will be put up onto the website.
Please print off “pledge form summary” to fill in all pledges received and if the donation is in excess of $20 you are eligible to receive a tax receipt, therefore print off “tax receipt form” and bring it with you to registration.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Make A Move on March 28th, 2010. The event was a huge success! And thanks to your efforts, the McGill Club for Make A Wish is all the more closer to granting a child his/her wish!
